A photo of the project we did on GDP
We read about GDP in our book and we had to create a power point along with a speech about it to present to the class. For the power point, we divided the work among us, and we put it together in the power point. For the speech we just typed it out and presented it to the class along with the power point.
This assignment was meaningful because I got to work with others and present to the class. it was also meaningful because I got to over come my nerves and did some public speaking.
I learned to not be shy and to work together to teach a lesson to the class. It was fun and I now know how to properly say a speech.

A photo of Martin Luther King
We were asked to study the way Martin Luther King and some other speakers spoke. We were to dissect the way they spoke and gave speeches.
This was meaningful because I got to see how others spoke in front of a large crowd. We learned techniques from multiple speakers and put them to use in our speeches.
I now know the different styles of speech from multiple famous speakers such as Obama, MLK, and Hitler. I also learned that there is a reason why the speakers where heard. It was because they had a great presence and knew how to speak.
